4L70E crossmember Ok guys, I already cut up a th400 and a th350 cross member to try and fit a 4L70E into a 68 Camaro and now they are scrap! I know, just flip the tab on the th400 and it'll work; not for me it did. Who makes an adjustable cross member for this application?

I cut out the center section of the th350 cross member and moved it back but it only has less than 2" to weld to the left and right side pieces. I can come up with some means to reinforce it I suppose, it's just that I'm a stickler to details and want it to also look nice. anybody have pics of their homemade cross members?
