Ron Shearer Fab intercooler. Ill be either making a tank or buying a 7.5 gallon and using a Rule 3700 or Davies Craig pump. Intercooler will be shipping today or tom.

recieved my hood latches and installing a 1.031 master tonight. Intercooler will be in monday if weather doesnt postpone it

well been under the weather all weekend so didnt get much done. i did get hood measured where i need to drill for the latches and intercooler came in.

Did some mock up. looks good.

got the hood mounted and hole cut for intake.

Thanks. turned out pretty good. took about 6 hours to cut the hole and get everything lined up lol


Looking to either buy a tig welder and make a ice box or just buy one and and rule 3700 pump it. i dont want to take up to much room in the hatch so kind of want to make my own and make it go long ways next to spare tire area.

got alot done last night for being cold as ***** out. Master cyl is bench bled and installed with new lines to proportional valve, wiring extended to the TB and started mocking up charge pipe

making some pie cuts today and hopefully have a good idea what itll look like soon. i need to buy a dang tig welder. this would be alot easier. Going to be ordering some vikings crusaders for all 4 corners and trz arms, and an ice box with a 3700 rule pump soon.

got a few thing done over the weekend.

Made a drive shaft loop from some scraps i had laying around.

Got my switch panel for boost switching, switch for my shifter mac valve so i can shut off if need, Data log button with led, all the 12v cig lighter deals wired up. going to maybe add a radio to factory location or hide it it the arm rest.

Got the charge pipe all mocked up. need to have a buddy tack it and double check to make sure it all fits. Radiator still fits and should work out.

Hoping to get some parts ordered in the next couple weeks. Cage cert day at local track is march 8th. GOT SO MUCH TO DO STILL!!

been to cold to work on anything, did get charge pipe welded up and put down payment on a 24' spread axle.

Are you planning on racing any sanctioned events? I was just curious, because if not, does the cage need to be certified? I don't think at most of the no-prep type events they even check for certs. I know they do a basic safety, but I have not heard of them looking for sfi stuff/cage certs etc. I was under the impression nhra only does that if you race a program. I have not raced anything more than a few evening events in years though, so I may be out of touch.

i plan to get it certed next month and all my sfi stuff is up to date. ATI trans case and bell, balancer and flex plate. ordering all my other safety stuff soon. helmet, suit, harness and window net. I want to be good on safety stuff just incase they do check.

Got a bunch done over the weekend. Brakes are bled, walbro 450 intank installed, wheels cleaned up, fuel gauge wired and working, and a few odds and ends.

580 dollars in fitttings and a new walbro 450. should be plenty of fueling now. GOt the 450 as my primary and 4303 is turned on when i turn the booost control switch on

I agree on being safe instead of sorry on the safety aspect. Since you have went this far, I would suggest getting a diaper. Much easier now while its cold outside and your not driving it, than to rush when you need or want to drive it. Just my suggestion.
