1st Gen F-body - Hooker Trans X-member ?? Guys, I searched and I didn't see anything looking into a couple of terms so I apologize for the probably simple question...
I have the Hooker T56 trans crossmember. I am going more strip setup and putting a TH400 into it or a 4L80e. I know Hooker has the 4L80e crossmember, but do they make an adapter mount or a whole seperate mount to do a TH400 behind the LS that still has the exhaust cutouts in it? I didn't see it specifically listed and am unsure about the mounting differences between the two. Is it just a simple shimming to get the right driveline angle using the existing crossmember?

The TH400 installs on the same crossmember as the T56 using the available 12650HKR spacer block to accmmodate the difference in the mount surface height between those transmissions. The 4L80 is a completely different scenario.
