Default Transmission spacer and flexplate

I have a 2003 GMC Yukon Denali XL with the LQ4 6.0 it had the lone crank i thought because no spacer came off with flat flexplate and it had short bolts installed that held flexplate the trans was ether a 4L60-E or 4L65-E the dealer told me it had the 4L65-E the bell housing has a bolt hole 12oclock at top of trans the trans numbers are 3KZD255B34162057 my motor blew up so I got one out of a 2002 GMC Silverado or Sierra 2500 HD with the LQ4 6.0 only thing different is that it has a short crank i would thank since it had a spacer and dished flexplate and long bolts that held flexplate. the truck had a 4L80-E trans so in order to put the 6.0 into Denali with the 4L65-E what do I need to do

I'm sure someone else can chime in but I think the long cranks are only in 99-00 lq4s. None of those you described would be an ls3 should only be lq4 or lq9. LS3 is the newer 6.2. I was also pretty sure the 4l65 couldn't fit on a long crank without a custom converter or flexplate. Are you positive what you took out was a long crank motor? And in that case a 4l65e? I had a 2002 lq4 that was on a 60e that had a dished flexplate, no spacer. The absence of a spacer doesn't mean it's a long crank. Put it back together the exact way you got it out should work just fine.

Did you figure this out? The 4L80E flex plate is flat. 4l60E is dished.
