53 ford f100 ls6 swap Recently bought a 53 ford f100. I know the ls6 swap can be done. What I'm wanting to know is if it can be installed with a t56 six speed without going with the long 23 stick attached. Something shorter is what I'm looking for. Or will that dash be too much of a pain to work around? Keep in mind I'm fairly tall and it'll have bucket seats that will sit lower than the traditional bench seat

I have a ‘51 F1 with L92 and 6 L80.
It fits fine. I had to pie cut the trans tunnel cover to add aome height to clear in the bellhousing area.
I believe 6L80 is bigger than manual trans.
The valve cover is very close to the firewall. Maybe 1/4”
