The 4.3 has the same pattern as the SBC/LS

Remember, the 944 is a transaxle layout like a Corvette, so you're not adpating the engine to the transmission, you're adapting the engine to the torque tube.

In that case the usual approach should work, Engine --> Corvette C5 bellhousing --> adapter plate --> torque tube
