Rubicon LS swap
So I have a 98 Wrangler LS6/4L60E swap that has been good for the last 10 years.
Really been thinking a about a 2007 plus Rubicon LS3 swap. I have a L92 with a cam and upgraded springs in the shop..
Similar swap. LS3 with 4L60E. I used Novak trans parts in the past.
Is it more than disconnecting the Jeep V6 and installing the LS3 like the 98 Wrangler swap?
My 98 didn't have a clue what engine was in the car.
I used the stock Jeep speedo. Auto Meter tach.
Any advice.?

Look up PeteS160 here, I think he may have a solution to run the stock cluster and some of the other Jeep modules, other than that it shouldn't be that much more difficult than the TJ swap.

I talked to Pete a little about this. As I understand it, he hasn't worked on the 07-11 (or 12, whenever they switched to the 3.6VVT) yet. He needs datalogging of the factory databus in order to make an adapter.
I'm interested in the same thing, because my GF's '09 Sahara JKU could use a little more power and probably better MPG by doing the swap. lol

I spoke to Colin at MRS while we were at the PRI show. They have done some CAN-bus conversion work for the TJ and JK.
