Okay so I have a 92 s10 with a 700r4 and an 03 1500 with a 4.8 v8. I know that I need a adapter for the torque converter, and to rig somthing up for a kickdown.
I'm looking to do this for as cheap as possible and have access to a small machine shop for fabrication. All I'm really neending to know is exactly what I will have to order for this swap. I'm reusing as much as I possibly can from the two trucks to keep cost below 500 bucks. And I need to get this done in a months time too lol.

Also if any one is wondering why I dont use the 4l60e from the 1500 it's locked in 1st gear no reverse.

I would get the 4L60E fixed as it will make things WAY easier than making the 700R4 work behind the 4.8. I would bet there's a simple solution to making it work.
