This didn't work. It was too close and I couldn't get the 45 on. Went too the oil pan instead.

The crossover 90 hits the back of the alternator. I cut a section of the plastic cover but it's not going to work. I'm going to see if I can find a tighter radius 90 .

Hotside is all mocked up. I'll be welding it up (very ugly like) and wrapping it tonight.

Debating on running the exhaust down this side between the steering shaft and manifold. It'll keep the passenger side open for the AC when I get to that point. What you guys think??

That's aluminum intercooler pipe but it's just for a reference. I don't think it would hold up since it's eBay special pipe

I was able to go over the top of the intake and have just enough clearance even with the black plastic cover cut on the alternator. Had to order a couple fittings for the feed.

Got some of the un-needed wiring removed. Crossmemeber on trans bolted down. Fuel filter mounted and fuel lines ran for the most part. Going to have to move the power steering lines tomorrow. They're really close to the crossover pipe. I was able to get the stock column linkage to work with the 80e. It's tight but I won't be shifting much. Just let the Holley do it's thing.

Got the trans cooler mounted. Under the bed on passenger side where fuel tank was. Had to make some brackets.

Was able to use the stock fuel sending unit and hose clamp too the filter. Cleaned up a few things on the truck and straighten up some wiring. Built a fan shroud but haven't got it mounted yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Don't like the shroud up tight I would think you are limiting the airflow somewhat. PLEASE practice welding more before you try welding your hotside. Wrapping it may help heat wise, but its still a garbage weld and more likely to fatigue and fail. Yikes.

I agree welds look shitty. Looked the same on the last truck I built and never had any issues. As for the shroud I was limited in space. I guess if I have any issues I'll just get a different fan setup from the junk yard

Anyone know what year the steering column in the bed of the truck that doesn't have the wheel on it is out of? I got it with the truck but it doesn't bolt up to the firewall. And the firewall plate is welded on the steering column. The one I pulled out the firewall mount slides on the shaft. All the plugs are the same but it won't bolt up. Even the two bolts that bolt too the dash armt as wide as the one that was in it. I'm looking for another one while I'm out at work.
