Default Alternator wiring

Hi:
I have modified two wiring harnesses before and both have two wires (brown and gray I think) to the alternator connector. I am in the process of modifying the third one and this one has an additional blue wire going to the alternator connector. Unfortunately the blue wire has been cut therefore I don't know where it suppose to go. Any ideas? All harnesses are from chevy trucks the only difference is this one has drive by wire throttle from a 2004 silverado.
Thanks

The blue wire is an 'engine on' signal wire that originally went to a brake booster assist thing, not sure what it's called, but you dont need it.
