"World's Quickest Mini" is coming together (pics)
I can't believe it- so far everything has just dropped right in. It's like the LS1 was made for this friggin car! The engine in the car now is just the mock up- I picked up the real one from Speartech last week (you can see it on the floor in one of the pics). Now that I have the radiator / fans / headers and everything fits I can finally finish up the mounts this weekend and start on the cage. My goal is to have the car ready for Hot Rod's "Drag Week".

holy sheet, I dont think I've ever thought of that swap, even as a joke!
you sir are a superb craftsman.
I for one have always loved the original Mini's and I really hope your setup is finished soon and all you hope it to be. Looks freakin incredible and I sure cant wait to see it complete! Nice pics too, have you had the chassis for a long time or is it new to you? I'd love to do something similar, its a wicked idea.
NICE!!!!!!!!!

woah! My wife asked me if it was possible to drop an LS block in a mini and I always told her no way, it's too big. I want to see the finished pics when done. It looks like your going to have a pretty tall tunnel down the middle.
