I like the GEO Idea
However hitting my head on the rear hatchback glass while sitting in the driver's seat doesn't appeal to me.
I know my LS1 T-56 Miata is a heavy weight cruiser compared to a GEO
Whew

Making it fit
In my experiences (i've done quite a few bizzare conversions, mostly GM motors) you can fit just about any engine in anything, if you can DREAM. . . and you're determined enough!

Stuffing a 400+ cubic inch, 1000+ hp, turboed LSx and AWD 4L80e into a pristine, 15K mile, original owner GMC Syclone. It's not just a dream conversion...I'm actually doing it! (Imagine Parish's driveline in a package that is over 1000# lighter!)
