Default A way to not have to get custom lines for power steering in fox stang

Ive done this before w/ my cobra kit car so I know they will hold the pressure. I used the OEM mustang line from rack and about 6" of its line and then i also used the ls1 pump cutting off the fitting and a bit of line. I then used a 3/8" compression union and tied the two together. Both lines are 3/8" which makes this a perfect setup. I also was able to retain the power steering cooler to pump and rack lines!!

also go steering shaft done, got some left over 3/4" DD if someone needs some.

That will definitely do the trick, and cheaper than braided lines too! Looking good man, you'll be on the road in no time!

BTW, I'm in your neck of the woods (kinda) until Sunday. Maybe if I can get a few spare moments, I can cruise down there and check out your car. I'm staying in Vernon Hills, and doing some work in Mettawa (right by the oasis on 94 near Buckley Rd.)

That is a neat idea. i have been wodering what fittings to use to adapt my 71 camaro PS box to the LS1 PS pump lines. I am sure this will get me on the road before I can figure out something else.

that's kinda what I did on my truck. I agree the steel compression fittings work out real slick.
