LS engine dimensions?
Anyone know offhand or have a link to a reference for the dimensions of the LS engines? Including weight, fully dressed?
Thinking about my '93 notchback. Doing some comparing of various engines.

about 440 lbs with all Acc for an all Alum block.
Searching is a good thing ! This information has been posted more time that anyone can think about it.

Yeah, sorry about the searching. I have a few feelers out on several forums and wanted to get semi-related information on the swap that I mentioned, while also getting that dimension info.
And doing all that on dial-up is pretty taxing, haha. So I opted for the lazy way. Who knows, sometimes interesting aside information comes up. That's why we're on public message boards, right?
Thanks for the posts and also those blown-up pics. Those are great. Took me 20 minutes to download but worth it, thank you!

We're just finishing off a swap of an LS1&T56 into a 1985 BMW E30 (325). Just before stuffing the engine & tranny in, we weighed it on 3 scales, each under the mounting point. The engine had intake, harness, front-end accessories and mounts on it. Weight was 260lbs each side on the engine mounts, and 83lbs on the tranny mount. So all-up weight was 603lbs. Link to pics:
