Earl's also makes an excellent fitting for the stock rail:

It has steel retainers and a secondary retainer clip.

I hadn't seen these, I'm sending the russel adapters I just got, back. Thanks for more useful info Project GatTagO!

On second thought, maybe not, it doesn't look like the one for the 5/16 line is available yet.

That Russel fitting is the one I'm using on my CTS V fuel module in my Camaro. Nice piece, its the one connected right to the fuel module.
I wish the pictures were better
