Default CSR Tstat housing and heater hoses

The CSR straight LS1 Tstat housing uses an older style thermostat. The stock thermostat is longer and looks like it blocks off the passage between inlet and outlet for heater hoses on the pump.Does anyone know if heater will work right w/ this setuup? BTW which is the inlet and outlet on the pump. Thanks!

Not sure about what will technically happen due to the short T-Stat, I had not notice if it does or doesn't block the Heater ports.

But the smaller hose is the outlet (into the heater core) and the larger one is the return (from the heater core). Geneally it is alway that the small hose/port is out or Hight pressure and large hose/port is alway return (low pressure). i.e....like your Power steering and AC.

I too would like to know, as my CSR housing arrived yesterday. Talk about a nice product at a great price!

I'm not sure how the pump would work w/ the short t stat. If you look at heater in and out they are next to each other and would communicate if the end of factory t stat didnt cover hole.
