rockytopper no I spent way too much time and $ trying to get the intake to look the way I wanted.Junk yard electric fans are $12.50 a motor. That is why I will keep trying different fan combos.
Carshopinc.com I need help with just a fan reco. I am totally happy with my smokinghawk alternator relacation kit and stock F Body stuff,Thanks though.
john67 I got new Taylor wires because I only had 6-7 wires from my donor motor. Also OE Delco wires have a ton of resistance.Taylors are like $50-60.
Rantheman see if you can make the Chevelle show in Denver here is the link. http://www.chevelles.net/rmcc/ I may be the only Chevelle with an LS there , if the same cars show up as last year. What takes you to Laraime?

Update on my 65 Chevelle w/LQ4 swap
Been way too long since I've updated my build.Winter will not let go here in Colorado(we got 12-14" of snow on Weds)so I need to get myself motivated by checking out some of the LS swaps you guys/gals have been working on.Hopefully this update will motivate some of you!

Teching In
Your car is awesome! I love the color, is that close to the original sea foam green? that's what color I'd like my Bel Air to be eventually (it's still that color in some places, but mostly not), though I'd like to get the dirty engine work done first.
You went with headers? I was considering re-using the original truck manifolds but they drop down pretty far back and I'm not sure that they'll clear the chassis on this X-frame car.
