Okay so I haven't updated this at all really I guess...
New setup I have is an LS2/M6, went away from the hydro-boost brakes and have been super busy with stuff. Here's a run-down on what's in it now-
-LS2/M6
-2" drop spindles
-Stainless sumped gas tank
-1 7/8" Headers longtubes
-Big brakes w/ a 7" mini-booster
-605 steering box
-BRP motor/trans mounts
Etc, today I went out and got the floor cuts done even though I'm not feeling too great. The trans is mounted, but until I get the headers I'm not doing a final mount on the engine. I'd like to get the tank and rear up back in the car and the car on the ground asap though. After the car is up and running it's more that likely coming all apart again after a few drives for vintage air, and maybe a body-off since it's such a solid car (80k miles, family owned prior to us, etc...)
Updated pics-

Do you have any pics of the gas tank you've got? I'm trying to decide if I want to mod a new OEM tank for an internal pump, or just leave it uncut and run an external pump.
What big brake kit did you get? It looks like the 13" with PBR calipers. The booster looks like it barely fits, which is great new to me..... a booster will fit!
Any additional pics and info would be great, if you have time to rattle some of it off. All your current mods are are of the nature I am looking to do to my '64. The steering, brakes, 9" rear, LS2...... all of it really.

Got some tank pics for you right now, it's a Rick's Tank and is a nice quality unit. The brakes are CPP big brake kit, along with their 7" booster and master cylinder and proportioning valve. This is as far as I've gotten, things have been hectic!
Here's some pics of the tank-

keep it coming. I have a 63 wagon that I want to do a LSx swap. Hope to do what you originally planned on with the auto.
What were you going to run for a gas tank in the wagon?
Specific reason why you are staying with the 3 link instead of going with the 4 link like the 409 cars?
I have 2" spindles, drop springs, sways f and r, and a std disc swap. It has a 250 L6 and 3 on the tree hoping to go auto if I can get the $ for the swap. I chose a wagon b/c we have 3 kids and we needed the space. Hope to make it a family cruiser eventually. Thinking Bonneville sears for the front and possibly 2nd row.
Check out www.pro-touring.com there are a few wagons on there. mine, triplecap and a guy who has a current project updates page going.

GT- I didn't even start planning for doing the swap on the wagon, when I got the wagon I sprayed it to keep it from rusting and parked it. I'll have to look on pro-touring.com and check it all out. Goodluck on your swap! Post pictures! I think even w/ my 2" drop spindle I'm going to have to lower the front a bit more, but my rear springs and shocks are shot so we'll have to see after I replace them how she sits.
locker- Thanks man, it's supposed to work as a return for the fuel system.
Here's some pics of it today sitting on the ground, I'm going to order 2 more wheels for the front (I actually had those left from my 3rd gen LS1 swap I did like 5 years ago and they work nice and look good so i'll order another pair)
Where I got my 2 left-over wheels and drag radials-

here are a few pictures of my wagon. Have a few things here and htere to install but really need to do something so its more drivable. The wife likes it a lot and she enjoys driving it but she hates the 3 on the tree. So at a minimum I have to swap in an auto. I was thinking about doing a turbo 350 or 700r4 for now and if I like driving the 250 straight six with that then I may go ahead and upgrade it. Who knows maybe even turbo it or do a tbi swap??

You're not running that two piece drive shaft are you?
My buddy had a '62 and we could never get that center bearing to hold up on the power of the big block he had in it. It would destroy the rubber around the bearing and the drive shaft would flex and bang like hell.
