thought i'd start a topic on my whining power steer pump, i see some others with whining pumps in another thread,

had this problem since i installed the S & P pulley setup(remote pump), talked to s&p and they told me i was running the wrong return hose(not vacuum rated) and the pump is starving for oil and cavitating , so i changed it -- still whined, so i changed it again to 10an, still whines , my reservour is mounted on the radiator support , there is no air in the system ,no bubbles in the fluid , i am about ready to remove the pump and send it to a power steer shop to check it out , other than that i have no idea ,

any suggestions or has anyone else fixed a similar problem...thanks
