Finally Running!!!!
I know it may not seem like long to some of you conversion guys but it has been three months since i started my project....It wasn't too hard of a conversion because i didn't have to make anything for it, just put it all together
It is a 2000 camaro that had a 3800 v6 that was shot and got the whole thing for $1000. Put a 1999 ls1 with 25K miles and all accesories for $1800 in it along with tubular k-member, LTs and ORY pipe, catback, SLP lid and smooth bellow) and the whole project has only cost about $5400 (i think thats pretty good price for a almost full bolt on "z28")!
the only problems i am having now is brakes. I'm not exactly sure if they work or not yet but will find out tomorrow. On the instrument cluster it says AIR BAG and BRAKE in red letters so i need to figure that out before i can actually drive it on the street
but all in all im very relieved to finally hear it run and am looking forward to racing the locals around town with my "v6"
also im only 16 so it was a good learning experience for me

That's gonna be funny. I'm working on convincing people my truck has a 305sbc in it. I'm gonna relocate/hide the coilpacks and put SBC valvecovers over my real valvecovers. Mine has the victor jr intake though, so that helps. Get some pics and video up if you can.
