do you mean tps as in throttle position sensor? it seems to be reading correct in the scanner is the only reason I had not been considering it

for some reason the engine doesn't start trying to fire on my first attempt to crank, it usually takes about 3 tries, holding the pedal, cranking for what I consider an excessive length of time (sometimes up to 10 seconds)

could it be a ground? I have 3 grounds to the rear of the head and one to the battery terminal itself, engine is grounded to battery which is also grounded to the chassis

or even a IAC motor relearn? The IAC would cause it to not want to Idle. I have a freind that was having Idling problema after his tune and he got to messing with it. We found that the IAC was not moving real smooth so he cleaned it(not recommed by most) after the clean it would not idle so we got to looking and found how to re set to IAC and it was much better then. I know that will not help your fire problem but it maybe another issue. I would try the CS re Learn and see what happens.

Did you work the harness yourself?

I can't see a engine ground being an issue, mine has very minimal grounds and it fires right up. Possibly somewhere in the harness ground.

tried to crank sensor relearn but since it won't idle I can't really do it properly, going to try resetting the other sensor you mentioned so it might idle then
