Default Removing intake MAP fitting?????

Anyone know how to remove the fitting on the back of the LS1 intake manifold, where the vacuum port ans MAP sensor mounts.

I have not hear anyone that has successfully removed it without breaking it. I broke the tab on mine that holds the MAP.. but I just zipped tied it inplace, as I could not find a part number or even how to remove that fitting. You might try looking into the manifold from the front and see if you can use a long screw drive to click the tabs to release the port/piece.

good luck, post what you find, as it has been question many times before.

Are you talking about the tab on the outside of the manifold that breaks? If so mine was broken slightly when I bought the intake and I have just left it and it hasn't had any vacuum leaks that I have noticed.
