truck fuel rail
truck fuel rail Will the LS1 and 5.3 truck fuel rails interchange?? Are the injector spacing and mounting hole locations way far off? The truck fuel rail has a return line and a vacuum fuel regulator, it would work great for a return fuel system. And its cheaper than the $165 S&P modified fuel rail. Also does the 96-97 corvette fuel rail have a return line?
Re: truck fuel rail pretty much if you want a return line you could go to S&P and buy a corvette fuel rail from a 97 or have them exchange out one of their rails that have the return line or you go and get a aeromotive regulator for about $140.00 and do the same thing. And use any normal ls1 fuel rail. The truck rails and the LS1 rails do not interchange.

Re: truck fuel rail Why does everyone want a return line at the rail? Just get a 99 vette fuel regulator/filter. It comes with three ports...in/out/return. Mounts anywhere you want. Close to the tank is best for a short return line...and keep the truck rails.

Re: truck fuel rail Just out of curiosity what is the part number and cost of the Vette filter/regulator?. I used the Mallory four port regulator. It cost me around $70 if I remember it right. I liked it because it gave me a good spot for my fuel pressure gauge.
