Default Car occasionally runs like crap?

So twice now in the last week when I get in the car and start driving its a complete dog. When it does this there is virtually no throttle response, flooring it doesn't downshift and instead gets sloppy upshifts and a bog.

I can't catch it happening when I can get the scanner hooked up. Any ideas at all?

Check your battery, and alt is putting out enough volts.I had a weak bat and a marginal alt and on cold days the car would run crappy in the morning

Check for bad grounds.. both on the engine and PCM. I have grounds at by battery a) to the sheet metal/body, b) to the Block and c) to the Frame.
I also have extra ground straps from both sides of the engine mount to the frame. and each side of the back of the heads to the sheet metal. using the same both on both sides of the firewall for the ground of the PCM and engine grounding strap.

Bad O2 or wiring, Vacuum leak, Bad Injectors ?

good luck..

When my Cats were clogged on my pick up this would happen.
On my truck when it was cool it would run fine but as soon as it got some heat in it it would be terrible. GL finding out whats wrong.

its done it only a couple times, just seems kinda odd, hopefully I can catch it again with the scanner hooked up and see what happens

1 thing of interest is that my car never enters closed loop, but if I force it into closed with the scanner it behaves similarly

only 1 of the 4 o2 sensors reads, the rest are tuned to fluctuate in the 450 range
