lq4 headaches into Monte SS
First, its a, and forgive me if I don't use the right terminology, but it uses the gas pedal sensor instead of a cable? I didn't get the pedal, so should I just buy an intake and throttle body or should I buy a pedal? If I go pedal, what else will I need?
I've got the whole wiring harness, the stock one, and the brain box. I've heard everybody say that it should be worked over to make it a plug and play. Who does this and what do they need to know?
Hmmm...what else, fuel, what will I need for the whole system? I've heard get the Monte SS tanks that are from a 4.3, I've heard you can use your regular fuel tank, I've heard it all, I just need some answers before I dive any deeper into this biach....so any help you could give me, advice, things that can help, they'd all be greatly appreciated.
Also, I was told that I could swap the ls6 intake can the throttle body onto this, but then I would have to swap all the accessories? Where would I find all these?
Thanks a million guys

Throttle body- To use the drive by wire throttle body, you need the matching pedal and tac unit. Without these, it would probably be easier and cheaper to swap to a cable throttle body. Depending on what tranny you plan on using, a cable throttle body may be your only choice. If you use a tranny that requires a TV cable, then you will have to run a cable throttle body, so you will have a connection point for the TV cable.
Harness- Send the harness and PCM to Jesse, www.wait4meperformance.com ,and let him modify the harness and re-program the pcm for you. Just tell him everything about the car and your intended plans, as far daily driver, or strip car.
