I'm not trying to talk you into any particular cam because I don't know your intended use or even what your going to put it in,but as far as your power goals, it should be no problem! Just for comparison sake, I've got a stock bore 6.0 with L92 heads and a 222x234 cam. When it had the FI , it dyno'd at526HP and I'm quite sure it's making every bit of that still with my carb setup. Car Craft ran a bigger cam and made the 550HP, so I'm sure you have a chance of hitting the number. I do think Shawn is right about choosing a cam with about 10-12 * more exhaust duration.
I htink Car Craft might be running the biggest cam possible with the stock L92 springs? IDK...... The motor is going in my '68 Chevy C10 (My sig) which weighs around 4000 lbs., has 3:73 gears (for now, might step up to 4:11's), and a TH400. Right now the trans has a 2000 stall converter, but I want to step up to a 4000-4500 stall. Any tips on this?
I wouldnt run a big cam with stock springs. Springs are cheap to replace. A couple hundred dollars. Its worth it just to run dual springs. I have personally broken a dual spring before on my 01 z06 and my ET heads were left undamaged.
I say a 4500 stall. You have plentry of room to run a free flowing dual exhaust setup. If you go to 4.10s then you could run 28"-30" tires in the rear.

Verdad Gallardo PM Patrick G or Predator-Z either of than can spec a cam for you and have them ground for your self. EFI cams will work fine on a carb you can just a few more hp by tightening up the LSa and adding a little duration.
