ls1 in 97 v6?

ls1 in 97 v6? have an 98 ls1 and harness just wondering if the the ls1 harness will plug into the v6 body harness or do i have to do any rear wiring as im trying to make the 98 ls1 gauge cluster work, a search result no 100% answers
It should be plug and play but I'm not 100% on that. You do know you need the LS1 K member right. If it were the same year then I could tell you for sure it will work my only concern is because of the year difference.
