nissan frontier Been lurking here for quite some time now... and now im contemplating an lsx swap.
I've come across a 99 Nissan frontier with a blown engine. I've looked in car part and the engines are rather expensive, and with a bunch of miles on them. Then I thought why not an LS swap?
A 4.8 or 5.3 should be cool with a 4l60e, or th700r4. They're plentiful in car-part, and can be had for peanuts with relatively low miles...
My main concerns is merging the two (gm and Nissan) harnesses together, and making it pass smog.
Is something like this feasible?
Any thoughts or input is greatly appreciated...
