Turbo 350
Turbo 350 What do you need to put a turbo 350 behind a 6.0 i know you need the hughs spacer but do you need the flex plate too, or can you use the factory 6.0 flex plate.thanks........

It depends. Is it a 99-00 long crank motor (with steel heads), if it is you don`t need anything. The later 01-+ motors that were hooked to a 4l80e don`t need anything either, they already have a GM spacer and flexplate that will work.
The only motors you have to worry about were the ones hooked to the 4l65e transes. Those will need the GM spacer and either oblong out the holes in the flexplate or replace it with a flat truck 4l80e flexplate (theres a 2mm difference in bolt circles, one is a 298mm circle and the other is a 300mm circle)

As long as you have a flat flexplate your good to go. If the flexplate is dished in the center you will need the GM spacer.
Unless your motor is an LQ9 it should have the flat flexplate on it.

If you are putting that THM350 behind a 6.0L I sure hope you are replacing the intermediate sprag with one of the drum/sprag assemblies that will take the torque. In our little drag truck we tore up three intermediate sprags with mild 383 smallblock before we got smart and called TCI.
