Simple Accessory pulley question
Simple Accessory pulley question Are the pulley bolts on accessory drive aligned so that the pulley rotation can only tighten the bolt? I noticed some tensioner pulleys are bolted from the backside, is this done to prevent loosening?
I just put together the accessory drive below and noticed that one pulley will be rotating counterclockwise. If it's going to loosen, I was thinking a support between the top of the 2 pulley bolts with a french lock type of mechanism to prevent loosening.
Any thoughts?
