has anyone ever tried to swap LS1 rear brakes to a 8.5 axle axle out of a 2nd gen Camaro. i measured the bolt holes for the rear brake mounts from my 02 SS and my 69 SS (which has a 2nd gen 8.5 in it) and they look the same. i dont what to but a set of rear brakes and find that it will not fit. it would be nice to have inexpensive rear disk on my 69. please help.

IF YOU HAVE STAGERED SHOCKS YOU NEED TO GET 2 RIGHT SIDES FOR IT TO WORK ....
do the shocks get in the way. i was going to go with coil overs anyways but the main thing is that i wanted for the parking brakes to work properly. if i use two right sides, then wouldn't the left side parking brake cable be backwards?
thanks steve,\
