coolant sensor testing

Did the search and can not find where its posted on reading the coolant sensor to see if mines good or not.

Anyone know what the sensor should read, ambient temp and up to operating temperature?

Will a bad coolant sensor give a engine code?

My engine is still running kinda crappy. Has an off idle stumble and is running rich, so thinking the coolant sensor isn't reading.

If you hook it to a Scanner and it reads like -40 or something like that, then it's not reading the Temp Sensor.

Don't have a scanner. Wondering what kinda resistance they should have at ambient temps?

Found these numbers after 10 pages of searching.

-40F = 100,700 ohms
77F = 2796 ohms
104F=1459 ohms
176F=332 ohms
194F=241 ohms
212F = 177 ohms
