LT1 to LQ4 swap
LT1 to LQ4 swap Has anyone ever done this?? I am getting ready to drop an LQ4 into my 93 trans am. I would like to know what has to be modded to make it work?
Also has anyone every piggy backed pcm's to keep my dash and bcm and abs and tcs functional?? I want to run the engine off the LQ4 comptuer and everything else of the stock one. Would it only be putting another temp probe in and wiring up a power and ground to the other computer and splicing into the crank sensor for tach??

You don't need to piggy-back the PCM's.. the cars 1998 and back are still analog and don't have BCM's.
I built my own Harness for my swap and it works without a problem.
