Default DBC, E38 question

I've searched but can't find a definite answer. I've got a 08 LY6 going in an old Blazer. I don't think the DBW and offroad conditions this vehicle will see will be a good combination. Question is, can my E38 pcm be reprogramed with a program that has IAC controls so I can use DBC? If not, can I swap to an earlier computer and modify the harness to use with that earlier computer?

Are you going to be submerging it? If not, you should be able to weather proof the pedal easily.

This is a guess, but I dont think the E38 supports anything with a cable. Even if it did, it would be easier converting a GEN III harness and ECM.
