Default silvia lsx question(s)

Hey, got a l33 motor out of an '05 Avalanche that I plan on swaping into my silvia, but had a question or two. I know I need new accessories, but does that include the A/C compressor? I still would like to keep the A/C. Haven't been able to find much out about the compressor. Thanks.

What do you want to know? If you can use the oem compressor on the motor? And still have it fit?

If the A/C compressor is the same as on F-body LS1s and in the same location (bottom right), I don't think there should be any issues getting it into the engine bay. Why do you need new accessories? Do the truck ones protrude too far forward to get it into the engine bay?

Anyway, if you find that you need F-body accessories, I have a compressor and power steering pump from a 2000 Trans Am LS1 with 23k miles. Let me know if you need it.

Its it a real JDM Silvia? That will play a part in fitment, as a Silvia is RHD so the compressor likely would hit the steering.

You dont have to feel bad telling us its not a real silvia, but instead a Sil40. It will help a ton in helping you out
