Hey guys, new to the site and new to newer engines. Read an article about building a 6.0L and its got my interest.

I plan on putting a 6.0L in a S10. I want it carb'd but I have a TON of questions. My goal is get into the 10 second mark. Now I know there is a TON of varibles but the article had the 6.0L at 540hp which I think should be enough.

I'm looking for someone who has built a carb'd 6.0. I have sensor questions, valley plate questions, coil relocation questions etc etc so looking for someone very patient. Also, first build will be as cheap as possible, then I will get crazy another year but right now I'm just trying to get it running. I want to get a parts list put together so no money is wasted.

Also, found a 2001 6.0L for $650.. good price?

Also, now I'm beating myself up because I dont know if it would be better going carb or EFI
