Running straight as an arrow today during the arm Drop Live event. made 5 runs Friday all between 9.60-9.66 all in the 139mph range except one 140.18 run. I was happy about breaking 140! Running more Sunday as Saturday was postponed due to rain. Still launching off idle though.

too bad you didnt have some adjustment for the front of the ladder bars maybe see if you can fab some tabs a little lower to drop it but i think you have more of an issue with spring rate if you say initial hit is good but unloads the tire once rolling the spring rate is overpowering the rebound valving and frying them up remember you only need enough spring to hold up the car supple is key you should be able to hop into the car and it will jiggle around for a second after you get in i just helped out the ihra Pro Mod record holder figure out the rear suspension and we ended up with 125lb springs in it with resin discs and torrington bearings on the end to reduce bind like i said before id like to see this car run some good times it definately has potential

I have been doing a lot of online research and will look more into spring setups. And I need some ajustability in these ladder bars! Or just a new setup but I want to get it as good as i can this year and focus on major changes over the winter.
If you cant see the vid yet then it isn't done processing. it will be ready in a minute

wats your pinion angle on that thing 8degrees hehe definately need to drop the front of those ladderbars whoa that things got leverage and the spring rate is way too much if your gonna wait till winter to do the ladder bar mods at least drop the spring rate down a few hundred pounds and pull some pinion angle out of it to get some preload out j/k about the few hundred pounds but quite a bit

Just an update. I know I have work over the winter to change the ladder bar setup to something workable but for now I'm making the best with what I have. I added front end limiters then started to soften the suspension up in the rear and moving the launch RPM up until I got something that would keep the front end down enough to keep control. I have worked my way up to a 3900rpm launch and ran some 9.5x's this weekend with a best of 9.55@140.21 60 was 1.34 with a best of the weekend of 1.320 but the car turned to the wall with the wheels up and when it came back down I couldn't get her back in the grove and just let out on that run. Slowly but surly. It seems if I can get off the line at 4400 like I want it could have some 9.4's in it.
