Swap Question So i've been thinking about building a 6.0 for my car. I currently have a LT1(mods in sig).
I've found a 98 TA for a good price. should I sell my set up and but the 98? The 98 is pretty much a roller. Has a 5.3 that doesn't run very good and a blown trans.
Just wondering if it'd be easier and cheaper to go this route.

You found a 98 TA with a 5.3? I thought 98 was the first year the LS1 5.7L was offered? With that, i would think keeping the car an LS will be easier when it comes to smog/resitration and costs.

it has a 5.3 swaped into it.
not worried about smog and registration...just costs...lol.
I figured I could use all of the accessories off the 5.3 along with the harness and computer. Then sell the block.
