quick question on flexplate tooth count

quick question on flexplate tooth count I've got a 98 LS1 finally in my 93 Camaro's engine bay. The flexplate is a 98 flexplate also.
I want to get a new starter. For those of you that have done an LS1 in an LT1 swap, do I get an LT1 starter or an LS1 starter? If I get an aftermarket starter (such as powermaster) do I get a 153 tooth starter or a 168 tooth starter?
