ls into lt1 bird well...guess i'll post up what i've been doing over the last year....all the pics can be seen here

just your simple 6.0 build with the good stuff and ls3 heads
motor just went it tonight. sits about an inch forward and high, as you can see by the elbow....so my question, anyone notice the motor sitting higher with prothane mounts and does anyone have good pics of the proper orientation of the ls motor mounts....this is all new to me.

I used some Conversion Mounts with mine on the LT1 K-member, and mine sits about 1/4" high, 3/4" back toward the rear.

Nice build BTW.. I have the same thing..just with a 4.000" Crank..

thanks for pics merv....i have a ls k-member with all the ls mounts in the car now, still have the lt1 trans cross member, not sure if that needs modified or swapped, i would of thought that the trans would of stayed in the same position
