Default 6.0 swap.

Is a lq4/9 a direct swap into a ls1 f-body?

sorry if this has been beat to death but search is junk.

will need to swap pulley, acc, and oil pan with windage tray and pickup tube.
bolts right in.

The fuel injector connections are different and depending on what year LQ motor you get the MAF/IAT could be differnet. You can fix the injector issue by just swapping over your LS intake with injectors. 01 and later trucks have an intergrated MAF/IAT sensor with one five wire conection. If you retain the stock F-bod intake ducting with MAF and IAT you will be fine. I assume you are talking about swapping into your 98 F-bod? If so swap the 3 wire temp sensor over to the LQ motor as well.

it's going into the 98.
i have a complete donor ls1, so intake and everything will be coming off of the ls1.

sweet.
sounds like its gonna be pretty easy

You will have to Drill & Tap a hole for the upper Alternator Bolt aswell.
