Cruise control with drive by wire

I asked this before but can't find the post. I think all I need to make the cruise work in my 2006 5.3/ 4L60E drive by wire is some switches. who makes switches that will work?

I used a turn signal stalk switch from a mid 80s GM.

I have an ididit column so that wont work. the one i saw was dash mounted.

Isn't that frustrating? You would think a company as inovative as ididit would have some provision for cruise control on their set ups. Sorry I can't help on the dash mounted switch.

I'm not sure this helps exactly but I have an Ididit column and had it semi-special ordered with thier a billet cruise/turn switch. The car is a '68 Camaro Convertible with a 2006 GTO LS2. The GTO cruise function is run through a powertrain interface module (PIM) and then to the PCM. The wiring diagram for the GTO and the cruise switch looks like it should work.

The bad news it that I'm not yet to the stage of running the wiring and starting the engine...

I think this is the switch that Ididit installed in thier column (although mine has a billet cover!). The molex connector coming out of the column is the same.
