LS1 into an RX-7 FB?

LS1 into an RX-7 FB? Hey guys, I just got a lead on an '84 RX-7 that I could get for dirt cheap that's supposed to be in good shape except for the engine. I was wanting an FC, but I haven't seen one around. I haven't gone to look at this car yet, so I don't know it's exact condition, but assuming the body and interior are in good enough shape, would it be worth it? How well do these cars handle and what does the aftermarket look like for them? Most importantly, will a 6'4" guy fit in an FB?

FBs are the smallest cars by far so you'll get some good times at the track but I dont think ls1s drop right into those cars. You have to mpdify the oil pan I think. The fcs and fds are drop in.

I'm 6'5" and fit ok into my FB. I fit better in the FC.
There are plenty of people that have done the v8 swap in those cars. as stated above, try grannys and/or go to v8rx7forum dot com and read threads there.
