Ls Motors

Do these motors make valve train noise? Almost like solid cam. It is a stock motor with a hot cam? Also are they hard to bled the air out of the motor/rad? Wes

I think the valve train is a little noisy but if its noticeably loud then something might be up, pinging? Should be able to burp the hoses to get most of the air out then let it warm up and run defrost/heater and top it off...Repeat as needed.

my daily driver has a hotcam, and has no noticeable valvetrain noise, no more than stock. I have had bigger cam motors with dual springs that had noisy valvetrain. I have found it easiest to jack the front of the car up, and let it run without the radiator cap on for a while to help get the air out. I had a ls1 swapped rx-7, and that was about the only way I could bleed it.
