Have any pictures of how that can happen? Thought about it, but without adding another idler, the geometry is all wrong...

It's ALIIIVVEEEEEE..................

Got her fired off today, had a few small issues, nothing major. Good oil pressure, fans work, never got over about 175, oil pressure is about 40 at idle, and around 60 on rev.........just gotta finish the brakes and she'll be on the road........

Default Oil pan

What year Camaro oil pan..what type of headers I am doing a 64 nova with a Chassie Works frt end..I have an 04 Gto motor and 6 speed trans..not sure if the oil pans going to work. Or the stock manifolds.

98 Camaro engine and pan. Don't believe the GTO pan will work, it will hit in the front. The headers are from Street and Performance. To my knowledge no stock manifolds will work, I think the pass. side hits the frame at the flange. Chassis works also makes a set of long tube headers, but they are pricey.

Took a while but I got it figured out. As stated before, nothing special, but it runs great....and gets hellacious gas mileage....

Been driving it for a few days and man it is great, plenty of pep, crisp throttle response, and everything works as designed. Makes me wish I had done this sooner.......I'll do it again to the next one I get......

Bob, it rides great. I caught myself rollin' 80 the other day on the way back from the muffler shop......

The spring rate is 375 I believe. Not a lot of rebound, no porpoising, really smooth. Didn't have to add any dampening to the coil overs. Little low for my liking now, but once the springs settle, I may crank to coil overs a round or two. I am totally pleased with the ride quality of the Heidt's....good stuff.

Thanks Tom - if I'm not mistaken Checkered sends out 500 # springs and this was even after I questioned them about the lighter LSx, etc. I have a feeling I'll be changing mine out. -Bob

Default Help with fuel rails

Thanks for the info...just put the Camaro pan on tonight... can you give me some info on your fuel rails and how to connect everything. I have an after market Edelbrock injection system on the car now..wondering if I can just upgrade my external pump. I belive I have a return line already..not sure if the GTO fuel rail is a single or double connection...your car looks great !!

Mounted the ECM in the glove compartment. Probably going to move it under the drivers or pass. seat, it cost me my glove box. If I reroute the harness, it will reach. The harness I bought has about a 5 foot pigtail.

I used the Corvette filter regulator, so the return is back at the tank. The FAST rails connect at one end and loop between. They make a fitting to add a gauge inline. You need about 58 PSi to operate the system, so check your pump. Not sure on the GTO rails.
