Default LSx Rootibaker

I'm starting a '63 Lark project and am torn between old school (406 SBC w/A833 4-speed) and a Gen IV (418 LS3-based w/T56). I'm shooting for 2600-2700 lbs on the road.

Right now, I have the 406 on an engine stand. ready to go (literally). I also have a complete LS6 (and T56) that would be a good mock-up motor to use for the 418 swap.

Even though the 418 would require more of a cash layout, it would be much lighter and (I believe) it would be much more streetable at a higher power level.

I'll post up some pics once I get further along.

Good luck with it whatever you do
