Long tubes for a '74 C10 Just wondering if anyone has fit a set of long tube headers into a 1973-1987 chevy truck. Swapping a 5.3 into a 1974 shortbox in a couple weeks and I'm thinking of trying out a set of 1 3/4" headers that are made to fit a 4th gen Camaro.
The truck is has a 700r4 with a column shift linkage. Using stock motor mount location with adapter plates.
Anyone running these headers in another application?
Any input would be great.

i used a pair of coated pacesetter longtubes for a 99-04 fullsize chevy truck. i had to clearance the drivers side frame rail some. the passenger side had no issues. the work great for me!
