PCM Mods/Tuning Questions What kind of modifications am I going to need to have done to the computer to make the engine swap work?
The PCM I have is not from the engine donor vehicle. Do I need to get it flashed by a GM before I take it to get other mods done?
Where should I have the work done? I prefer a local shop if possible, I live about 30 mins east of Orlando. I heard there is a good shop in Tampa... Precision?
The PCM I have is an E38, controlling a nearly stock L92 from a 2008 hummer, its going into a 2004 Miata. I'll still be using DBW and VVT. This motor was not manufactured with DOD. I'm using a Manual Trans with a Fox Mustang style electronic sending unit. The only thing that might be considered a mod to the motor is I've swapped to a 2009 Corvette Intake Manifold, including its DBW TB, injectors and MAP sensor.
I'm Guessing I need to have VATS removed, Speedo Calibrated, what else?
I've poked around on the board here but didnt find what I was looking for. Are there any good links for this kind of thing?
