Shiftworks is a PAIN!
Shiftworks is a PAIN! Has anyone else here had trouble getting their shiftworks conversion to work?? I paid $100 for what I feel to be crap!
The arm that bolts to the trans selector was a universal looking piece of junk that cracked after mediocre tightening. ( Made my own...which is what I wanted to avoid!)
No matter how I adjust the linkage, I either don't get 1st/2nd, or it won't engage Park...
I'm a decent mechanic, but I just spent 2hrs adjusting back and forth, only to wind up with P, R , N, OD, 3rd......I had that before shiftworks!!!

I used one on my 78 trans am ,ls1 4l60e conversion and it worked great. I liked the extra detent so I could use low, second ,third and drive and retained the stock floor shifter.I own a transmission shop and I thought the quality was pretty darn good.
