Well the fuel gauge should still be working because that didnt change. The fuel gauge is part of the s13 body harness, so you unplugged the wires or cut the wires that made it work?

The cluster lights are the same deal.

the speedo is more complicated, alot of guys use a "dakota digital speedo converter" which is basically a box that can take a electronic pulse signal coming from the VSS on the t56 and convert it down to a slower pulse that the s13 cluster is used to seeing. Some people have made their own converters for cheaper, but in reality unless you understand it and are really on a tight budget its just easier to buy the dakota digital box. its only like 75 bucks.

S13 temp guage is a POS, basically has points for off (cold), medium, and OH your FUCKED. I would just wire up the stock s13 sender somewhere in the coolant so it looks like it works, and go out and buy a aftermarket temp guauge.

for my swap i would have a water temp and oil pressure gauge at the minimum, and if you dont mind alot of gauges than a wideband, oil temp, and voltmeter wouldnt be a bad investment.

I believe the vss sends a 4000 ppm signal?

I have not bought the box yet, nor have i started taking any of my speedo crap apart.

I saw somewhere that there are some switches on the box, if i recall correctly it was down, down, up, down to get it working.

Did your thing come with directions?

I would try searching here or at silviav8.com, im not sure which forum i saw the thread on.

Hope that helps.
